Coming Soon!
Please join us as we honor and pay our respect to the many "Frontiersmen" and "Frontierswomen"
who blazed their way west and settled this great territory. Nowhere is Arizona's Territorial
History so beautifully preserved as it is in Prescott, which began as a small mining town with
the discovery of gold on nearby Lynx Creek in 1863. Arizona became a territory during that same
year and Prescott served as the Territorial Capital between 1863 and 1867, and again from 1877
until 1889, when the capital was finally moved to Phoenix.

Prescott Frontier Days®, Inc., is a non-profit volunteer organization of people
of all ages. This group is composed of hundreds of members and
hard-working volunteers, dedicated to the preservation of Prescott
Frontier Days®, the "World's Oldest Rodeo®." They give their time and
talents, as volunteers, to put on a number of events each year. There
are currently over 200 active members and during the peak period,
around the 4th of July, that number swells to more than 600 volunteers,
who stage a Golf Tournament, Rodeo Parade and of course, the "World's
Oldest Rodeo®". There is an 11 member Board of Directors, including the
President, and some 40 Chairmen of as many committees. It serves people
and has been able to donate thousands of dollars in past years to
charity. Anyone can participate and everyone is welcome. The following
applications enable a person to participate at their own comfort level.
