We welcome members of the media to the World’s Oldest Rodeo® and are more than happy to assist you with your request for press release information, photographs and press releases. PRCA Media Guidelines: PFD strictly follows and adheres to the PRCA media guidelines.
Media Credentials Request
Media credentials for the World’s Oldest Rodeo® are set forth by the rules and guidelines of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) who ultimately owns the rights of arena imagery and content. Active media credentials will be given to approved affiliate media outlets such as network television stations, local, regional and national newspapers and radio groups, news stations, and electronic news outlets who are interested in covering the World’s Oldest Rodeo®.
Free-lance photographers and videographers will receive media credentials based upon the information provided at least three weeks prior to the start of the 130th World’s Oldest Rodeo, June 7, 2017. Assignment and proof of coverage must be provided to media representative by June 7, 2017. This Rodeo only authorizes approved PRCA photographer’s rights to utilize images for commercial purposes and entry into the rodeo arena.

Media Rules On Rodeo Grounds
Dress Code for all media representatives: PRCA requires all personnel within the arena (in and around) need to be clothed with a long-sleeved button-down western shirt, long pants, boots and a western hat.
Media Room Hours
June 28th through July 4th: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, media room is located at the Prescott Frontier Days rodeo office in the Mackin building.
