Prescott Frontier Days, Inc. welcomes members of the media to the World’s Oldest Rodeo®.
Please note, we have implemented a new media policy that will be strictly enforced for this year’s World’s Oldest Rodeo.

MEDIA CREDENTIALS REQUEST
Safety is our top priority for our staff, volunteers, rodeo contestants, spectators and the media. Prescott Frontier Days has implemented a new policy that is in effect now and will be strictly enforced.
Please read this information carefully before submitting a media credentials request. Interviews are available and will be approved by the media manager.
UPDATED MEDIA GUIDELINES FOR 2023
NOTE: The following guidelines govern media covering PRCA events, as well as those co-sponsored and approved by the association. All media must review these guidelines. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may, at the discretion of the PRCA and/or the respective rodeo committee, result in forfeiture of media credentials and an immediate escort from the premises, as well as refusal of accreditation for future events. Unless specified otherwise, journalists and media are general terms for print, electronic, television, Internet and photo journalists.
GENERAL MEDIA GUIDELINES AND REGULATIONS
Credentials are distributed on an as-available basis to journalists of recognized news outlets who are on assignment to cover the event and/or the PRCA.
Journalists must represent recognized daily or weekly newspapers; news services; recognized publications and outlets that regularly cover rodeo; recognized national/regional radio and television networks; local radio and television stations; and/or recognized Internet sites.
- Only 10 media passes will be given for each performance (Must be pre-approved)
- Media must be in proper dress code (Cowboy hat, long-sleeve shirt, boots preferred)
- Media representatives must stay in approved location (middle of arena bay)
- Media badges will be distributed each day with approved media outlets
- No freelance photographers or videographers will be permitted
- Media check-in is each day at 4 p.m. at the rodeo office
- No media will be permitted without proper media credentials
Media credentials for the World’s Oldest Rodeo® are set forth by the rules and guidelines of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) who ultimately own the rights of arena imagery and content.
DRESS CODE ON RODEO GROUNDS
Dress Code for all Media Representatives: PRCA requires all personnel within the arena (in and around) need to be clothed with a long-sleeved button-down western shirt, long pants, boots and a western hat.
MEDIA ROOM HOURS
June 28th through July 2nd from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. each day, media room is located at the Prescott Frontier Days rodeo office in the Mackin building (840 Rodeo Drive, Prescott, Arizona). Media passes will not be given out the day of the request. All media passes must be pre-approved and aligned with a media outlet or affiliation.
